Roots is looking for individuals that truly enjoy working with children and demonstrate this through a warm, caring personality. At Roots, we encourage daily challenges which will lead to daily successes, both large and small.  It is important that our Preschool Teachers have fun while teaching because when our Teachers have fun, our students have fun. The preschool program emphasizes social and emotional skills, nutrition and  body awareness. These skills come directly from our amazing Teachers and our well-equipped 20,000 sq ft facility!

     Roots has created a movement-based preschool program, Movement Arts Club.  This program offers half-day and full-day options for 3-5 year olds.  Movement Arts Club  includes a full 45 minute gymnastics lesson in our amazing gym, followed by story time, snack time, craft time and free-play in our beautiful preschool classroom. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for assisting the Preschool Director with classroom management, progression to goals and enforcing daily routines with the students in a fun, energetic, caring manner. Our Preschool Teachers need to be able to adjust quickly to changing situations as is required when working with small children.

 

     This is a part-time position with some flexibility in days and hours required. Training is available.
